At the University of Redlands, spatial thinking is integrated into instruction, research, and administration to solve problems, learn from the past, and plan for a better world. Our strong partnership with geospatial industry leader, Esri, provides rich opportunities for students to employ geographic information systems (GIS), data science, location analytics, artificial intelligence, spatial statistics, data visualization, and remote sensing to gain theoretical knowledge, hone technical skills, and develop workplace competencies. The holistic, applied approach to spatial education used in our degree and certificate programs not only helps students pursue professional pathways to internships and careers, it also instills a commitment to service and civic engagement. "URSpatial" graduates go on to serve in leadership roles and make world-changing differences in business, government, and nongovernmental organizations.
